At Super Soccer, moments of fair play often happen quietly, but they leave a lasting impact.
Branson Aviogana from Jimmy Hikok Ilihakvik School in Kugluktuk was recently recognized with the NT School Sports Fair Play Pin. During a match, play stopped due to an injured player. In that moment, Branson chose to step away from the game and check in on others. He moved between teammates and players from the opposing team, lifting spirits and making sure everyone felt supported.
It was a simple gesture, but it showed awareness, respect, and care for everyone on the field.
The Fair Play Pin recognizes exactly these kinds of moments. It is not something that can be applied for or purchased. It is given in real time to those who show kindness, leadership, and respect through their actions.
Branson’s actions are a reminder that sport is not only about the game itself, but also about how we show up for each other.
Well done, Branson.
