At NT School Sports, our projects go beyond competition. Each initiative is designed to help youth feel connected, confident, and celebrated, whether on the court, behind a camera, or in front of a Kindness Wall.
Empowering Youth Through Sport
We support inclusive school sport events that foster belonging, leadership, and resilience. From first time players to experienced athletes, every student deserves the chance to grow through sport.
A space at every tournament where students, coaches, and volunteers can write uplifting notes. These messages of encouragement, thanks, and pride help create emotionally safe and supportive environments.
This new initiative gives youth the chance to photograph school sport events, build creative skills, and share the story of sport in the North. Participants can receive mentorship, earn volunteer hours, or be paid for their work, and may even get the chance to photograph a professional-level event in the future.
