Finding funding for sport, recreation and physical activity programs can sometimes feel overwhelming. NT School Sports is launching a new Funding Opportunities Webinar Series to help schools, communities, organizations and families learn what support is available across the Northwest Territories.
The series will feature representatives from KidSport NWT, the Mackenzie Recreation Association and the Indigenous Sport Circle NWT. Each organization will explain its available funding opportunities, who is eligible, how to apply and what can help strengthen an application. Participants will also have an opportunity to ask questions and connect directly with the people administering these programs.

The series is intended to make funding information easier to understand and access. By bringing funding organizations and communities together, we hope more children and youth will have opportunities to participate in sport, recreation and physical activity. The webinars will be promoted through NT School Sports and Physical Literacy NWT.
